David G Nordheim II was born and raised in Rockford, IL. He was the first child of his mother, Michelle Nordheim, and his father, David Nordheim. Four years later, David was given a younger sister named Alexis.

He attended the same school from elementary all the way up to his high school graduation where he made many friends and the love of his life. His youth consisted of nerding out to videogames, books, TV shows, and movies with a mix of basketball and mixed-martial arts.

David discovered his love for story-telling in high school where the writing assignments became more about telling stories than writing book reports. So he sat down with a pen in hand and began his journey by writing stories. He didn’t care to share them with others, but wrote them for himself and let his characters drive the narrative forward.

For college, David pursued a degree in Sociology & Anthropology: Criminal Justice at Rockford University. He interned at the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office which was an enlightening and educational experience. During this time, David went on a writing stint and focused on his education.

A few years later, David decided to sit down and put words back on paper. He hasn’t turned back since and has refreshed his love for storytelling. He hopes to one day have some of his own stories published and resting on his bookshelf.
